Cibo Matto founder and ex-Gorillaz member, Beastie Boys and John Zorn collaborator MIHO HATORI has embarked on her NEW OPTIMISM TOUR. kojinmari in cooperation with Phantom Limb and ByteFM presents the following shows in Karlsruhe, Hamburg and Frankfurt:
British post-rock heroes YNDI HALDA have been around for a while. One of the spearheading and leading bands in their genre, they have released several records to critical praise and played sold-out tours worldwide. They will return to German stages in May 2019.
Listen to their latest record A Sun-Coloured Shaker.
Berlin based musician MASHA QRELLA turned quite some heads in the past decade with her superb songwriting and miraculous abilities to mold different elements into a coherent sound. Indie meets pop meets singer/songwriter meets disco? Yes, that really works. Listen to her latest effort, titled Keys, and it will surely convince you.
A tour is planned for March/April 2019, but Qrella is also generally available for festivals and special events.
Post rock institution Pelican‘s own TREVOR DE BRAUW is now available for festivals and special events. He released his solo album Uptown to critical acclaim via The Flenser in 2017.
Pitchfork says: “’Uptown’ feels surprisingly necessary and somehow reassuring.”

Happy to announce that New York based singer/songwriter ANNI ROSSI has joined kojinmari. Rossi has released several critically acclaimed EPs and LPs including 2009’s Rockwell which was recorded with Steve Albini and released on 4AD. Her newest record, House on the Seaside, was recorded with Best Coast‘s Bobb Bruno in California and presents Rossi remaining at the peak of her songwriting, playing and singing. Her unique style, which can be described as something between R&B and folk, and unconventional playing of her electric viola still make her stick out as a incomparable talent.
Yokohama born singer/songwriter/poetry rapper/producer HARU NEMURI is one of the world’s most one-of-a-kind up and coming artists. Her debut album Haru to Shura created quite a buzz this year, and as if it was nothing she released her blistering new single Kick In The World only shortly after. When listening to her dense mix of alternative rock, post rock, (post) hardcore, spoken word and rap, one quickly realizes this is not your next average J-pop darling…
The visionary artist will be available for festivals, events and tours in 2019.
LIVING PHANTOMS is a project initiated by Will Benoit of seminal Boston space rockers Constants. Not only has he released the hypnotic full-length debut titled Memory Palace, he also did a series of remixes for artists like Ellie Goulding, Bad Rabbits, Caspian (who he has also toured with) and Rosetta.
Recorded with only analog gear in his very own solar powered The Radar Studio, Memory Palace shines with lush production, 80’s inspired grooves and dense sonic textures that are Benoit’s signature. Check out the video for New Day.
LIVING PHANTOMS is available for festivals and tours throughout 2019.
